The Verdant Pseudomorphs, as with all of the Old Ones, have gone by many names throughout their millennia-long lifetimes. To the Native Americans they were the Shape Shifters, and appeared in many tales and lessons as either tricksters or agents of chaos. Today they are dismissed as nothing more than shadows in the woods - random sounds and shapes which come from nowhere in particular and mean nothing of substance. At least that's the official story from the apologists and self-styled pragmatists. How could there possibly be anything real if they haven't seen it or measured it themselves, right? Bullshit! I've seen them! Last year - not far from some jerky little nerd factory called the Cascade Forest Research Center. Don't get me started. Those punks wouldn't know how to research their own buttholes. And here's the best part: I DON'T CARE IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME!!! I've got proof! Photographic proof! One of these days some dumbass is going to get himself killed out there from trying to mess with the Verdant Pseudomorphs, and when that happens all I can say is I TOLD YOU SO!!! |
